in your despatch of 10th April No 161, a committee was assembled on several days to take into consideration the proposed "Contagious Diseases Ordinance of 1867"
Dr. Bernard, Deputy Inspector General of Hospitals, represented the Royal Navy
Dr Harris, Surgeon major, represented the Army. The Colonial Surgeon and Registrar General represented the Civil Service.
All the members sat on each occasion of Meeting, and the report herewith forwarded
